Different couples, across the spectrum of sexuality and color, as a means to display the underrepresented couples in African American culture. Dark skin couples, gay couples, mixed-race couples that aren’t with white people, lesbian couples, cross religion couples, and other such under the surface couples.

There’s such a broad variety of beauty and personalities within PoC that have been previously underrepresented. I seek to change this Not everything has to be a hood or high-class love story, I wanna display an everyday love. This maintains the balance of showing underrepresented couples while still appealing to the general populace, this also serves the purpose as a means to normalize these underrepresented couples because they blend right into place alongside the other heteronormative couples.
